Who is a candidate for retreat?

I've been searching around for rules on how to determine who might be good candidates for going to a retreat.  So far I have found the Reams criteria and the Manthei/CHEM table, which are similar but not exactly the same.

An interesting point of view is that many "candidates" are so very... 

...sick that they may be extremely trying.  I love Reams' story about the minister's wife who was so low in basic calciums that she was impossible to be around.  The story had a good ending, but I suspect that there are not that many retreat hosts who could gracefully tolerate such irritability if such a person showed at their door.  Maybe they could handle one person with low-calcium induced anger, but not from many at the same time.  The host would be spending valuable time fending off the impossible when they could be doing things to make the retreat experience "Reams-right."

I look forward to the day that retreat guests better understand what they should get for their money and retreat hosts earn the respect that Rodney Dangerfield was always seeking.  The same client numbers that point toward the retreat experience simultaneously say, at least to me, that if the client does not get some sort of relief, whether RBTI or other, they may not be with us all that long.  Is that another way of seeing "the picture"?
