If you find the article, please share. This world is filled with people who visit doctors to worship and obtain sorcerer's potions or pills which they so fervently believe will make their problems go away. If they can't get relief in that direction, they visit surgeons who will tear away whatever it is that the worshipful true believer wants removed. Also think "wisdom" teeth here. Dentists happily yank 'em out so they can make payments on that second luxury car.
We have atheists in this group who whine that others "thump Bibles." They are as sure that we are a bag of randomness as their targets are that every single thing that happens to us is an overt act of God, harsh if we are bad and kind if we are good.
Weston Price proved that people who eat a "traditional" mineral-rich diet will develop full facial characteristics and a rounded dental arch with plenty of room for ALL 32 TEETH and never a need for braces. Pulling wisdom teeth or installing braces is absolute proof of a mineral-poor diet. Cavities are simply saying "Amen" to the dysfunctional development.
Carey Reams showed over and over that modern mineral-poor diet is the foundation of our miserable health. The body is a whole: dental dysfunction is not solitary. That is why horse traders looked in the mouth to see if a mule could pull a plow.
Reams knew that higher quality food, so much like traditional, is the real answer, but he also knew that 99% of people are going to try to stay alive on worse-than-garbage food (*). So he devised mineral-addition programs to help. His supplement programs do work, but you need to start six months before birth. Most people prefer to wait until they are in the wheelchair or on a stretcher before actually doing anything about their health. They arrive and ask someone else to take responsibility for their own lifetime of doing everything wrong. That same idea goes for mis-feeding their children and then asking someone else to fix their facial deformities and overcrowded dental arches.
I often wonder if there is hope.

(*) "Worse than garbage? What the hell are you talking about?" That is an easy one: aside from poor quality just think of people throwing away the potato skin with all the minerals and greedily devouring the starch interior. Wake up! Every time you separate out any part of Nature's bounty you are running a risk.
