IS YOUR CLIA SHINGLE HANGING ON THE WALL?

10/30/2008

If not, why not?  Are you ashamed that you analyze urine or saliva?  Do you think there is something wrong with analyzing such?  Are you really unaware that tens of thousands of “labs” perform simple urine tests for everything from employment drug screening, to a wrestling coach evaluating whether a high schooler has dehydrated himself to meet a weight limit, or even pregnancy verification?  Do you really think you have to use your RBTI instruments in a dark corner where no one can see?

Human urine (and saliva) testing is here and it is here to stay.   Whether the method employs dipsticks, instruments, reagents, a simple visual check, or whatever, our society can hardly function without the feedback information needed to better understand a subject’s who, what, where, when, and how.

It appears that the US government long ago grew tired of flaky results from flaky “labs” being submitted in conjunction with Medicare or Medicaid claims.  The Department of Health and Human Services developed a program to register laboratories so as to create some order.  The program allows responsible labs to obtain a CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment) certificate to hang on the wall to show they are in compliance.  The certificate looks good hanging up there.  It inspires confidence in your clients that you know what you are doing.

Does the process require you to state that you think the Reams Biological Theory of Ionization is scientifically proved and validated?  Of course not.  That is silly.  RBTI is merely a particular way of evaluating test results, not a special way of testing.   The application form for your CLIA does not ask you what 1.5 brix means, it asks only whether or not you use a refractometer to test human urine.  The form does not try to pry into your brain to determine what you think a 6.4 pH means, it only asks if you perform a pH test.

A side effect of the registration process is that you will need to thoroughly understand how to deal with specimen cups, leftover specimens, and contaminated instruments, pipettes, etc.  Like it or not, we live in a germ-wary world and approved sanitizing or disposal techniques are a must.   Bio-hazards are not tolerated.

If you are in the business of RBTI, you may want to think about whether a US Health and Human Services CLIA certificate would look good hanging up there next to those fancy certificates showing where or from whom you received your RBTI training and analysis techniques.  Does HHS need to know beforehand whether you want a certificate because you will be handling Medicare or Medicaid claims?  That is certainly doubtful, but whether you ever do submit such claims, or not, you must pay any fees associated with the certificate.

And can you imagine the sudden doubt that may come into the mind of someone out to disrupt your business when they look on the wall and realize that you are properly registered with the US government as a lab?  If you were a tough guy on a crusade would you really want to explain to a judge why you decided to bother a peaceful RBTI consultant with a certificate like this on the wall?

“Welcome to the United States of Tyranny, FDA style”

10/22/2008

Are you up to reading a long article about how the FDA is diligently working to destroy the very concept of supplementation?  If you are, here it is—with cartoons as well.

For years I’ve warned anyone who would listen that obtaining supplements is going to become more and more difficult as long as supplement sellers insist on making claims.  Yes, it is the claims that cause the trouble.  The FDA could not care less if I were to sell you some calcium citrate as calcium citrate.  On the other hand, they can become downright hostile if I sell you some calcium citrate with a statement that “this will make you feel better,” or “this can help with hives,” or “this is good for XXX or YYY or ZZZ”.

Do you get it?  The claim means that you are selling that innocent supplement as a drug.  And drugs, like it or not, require extensive (and expensive) scientific study, trials, and review before they can be marketed.

There is little, if anything, in the true RBTI path that can be construed as a claim.  Advising a client that a certain calcium will move their numbers closer to the perfect RBTI equation is not a FDA-regulated claim.  Saying that vitamin E is appropriate for anyone with a 4M is absolutely meaningless to the FDA.  The FDA inspector searching for supplement sellers making medical claims about their wares has no reason to pause if he comes across a RBTI consultant who is advising a client that taking vitamin C is useless if the client’s urine pH is cationic.

However, those supplement sellers who peddle vitamin C as capable of “curing” the common cold should not be too surprised when the full might of the FDA descends on them.   And God help any seller who claims that some rare tea, berry, root, or mixture that they sell “cures” cancer, arthritis, tumors, or any other named disease.

Avoid claims and sleep soundly at night.   Those curious and truly sick people who want to rebuild their health and let God take care of repairs, as is sure to happen in a properly mineralized body, will seek you out.

A DOCUMENT TO SHARE

Ron Littleton, who teaches RBTI in the Michigan area, forwarded several documents another teacher shared with him.  Evidently, Carey Reams put out a  short regular newsletter while he was in Arkansas and working on Choose Life Or Death (CLOD).   The issue you can read here gives some insight into the working of Reams’ mind.  Sadly, not much has changed in the intervening 30 years: sickness treatments via suppressive drugs, surgery, and radiation are not about to make space for RBTI health building.

GUEST COLUMN: CHALLEN WAYCHOFF ON “THICK BLOOD”

10/12/2008

Editor’s note: Challen Waychoff II, has practiced the Reams Biological Theory of Ionization in the Ohio area for many years. He consults with clients in person, by phone, or email and also gives RBTI instruction from his teaching facility in Wheeling, WV. Recently I noticed an interesting article concerning “Thick Blood” that he had prepared for the students in his online discussion group. The article appears to have been brought about because of his students’ questions. Obviously, Waychoff’s response created immediate interest because of Dr. Reams’ warnings about pectoris heart attacks.

Readers of RBTI Today may find his words of interest and I obtained permission to print them here. While your comments in the comments box are always welcome, if you have technical questions you can direct them to him at <heavenlywater@comcast.net> or his office at 304-230-9283.  You may also care to review other articles he has written for his students at this URL.

========================================

THICK BLOOD

First I want to define a few things as per the teachings of the RBTI:

Vitamin E - The purpose of vitamin E is to thin the blood. By thinning the blood you will relieve some of the pressure from the heart and allow the thinner blood to penetrate the lesions of the body to carry out the dead and worn out cells.

Albumin - This is the cell debris that is in the urine. Every cell in the adult human body should be replaced every 6 months. Each individuals energy level determines the number of cells that are replaced. The lower the energy level the less cells are replaced and these cells that are not replaced will form lesions or adhesions in the body. These lesions are called scar tissue and actually the start of tumors.

Salt - This number as a person heals may be as high as 25 but I have seen it even higher on some individuals and they are healing.

Rule: Anytime that the sugar and the salt both go up then the individual is not following the program properly.

When a person starts the RBTI, we will assume that he/she is doing it properly, the first thing that happens is he will start to throw dead cells out into the blood stream. These dead cells will make the blood thicker. The thicker blood may cause an elevation in his blood pressure. Whether there is an elevation will depend on the client’s age, gender, weight, and etc. A woman at 30 there usually is no difference in her blood pressure but a man at 70 may have a big difference.

I had a gentleman, 72, come to me for a test. I told him what to do and he went home. In three days he sent me an email and told me that he monitors his blood pressure all the time and after he started the RBTI his blood pressure is going up, so he quit. I told him when he came to see me his blood pressure may go up. I never heard from him again.

Rule: If you follow the RBTI you will have no problem with blood pressure provided you follow the numbers. This is true because you are gaining energy when you follow the RBTI properly and when you do not follow the RBTI then you are losing energy. Just that simple!

Rule: If a person has a tendency to have high blood pressure do not make them mad. When a person becomes mad it will elevate their pressure and that is very dangerous to a person with a blood pressure problem.

I have seen people with blood pressure 200 over 120 and have no problem at all.

All the numbers are related to the other numbers. The salt number by itself does not denote healing but the ratio between the salt and the sugar may show healing or even the lack of healing.

For example: A person in their 50’s may have a salt reading of 8 but have hemorrhoids. How can this be, because a person must have the salt over 40 for at least 10 years in order to have this problem. The client’s body is on the back side of the bell and it’s shutting down.

Rule: The more numbers that are perfect or close to perfect on the first test the sicker the person usually is.

Rule: The thicker the blood the more vitamin E that a person needs.

You are able to tell how thick the blood is by the albumin count. To Dr. Reams there was nothing greater than a 4M on the albumin count.

Rule: If a person weighs more than 100 pounds they need 1,000 IU of vitamin E twice a day and if less than 100 pounds 400 IU twice a day.

It is very important to take the vitamins as punctual as possible because the vitamins are a crutch and will make the body do certain things.

Rule: The body does not heal evenly.

If there are any questions that were not covered here please ask.
